ElkoSteve moved to Elko from Portland, OR in August of 2005. He has a house, a wife, 2 sons, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. He works for one of the larger gold mining operations in the Elko area. He enjoys Basque food, pinball, movies, World of Warcraft, lowriders, poker, and long walks on the beach.

I can relate to your adventures in Elko, I actually spent a summer working there at the Wendy’s between terms at college. Interesting place to say the least, and my sister actually graduated from Elko HS in 1988. Haven’t been there in a while, but do miss some of the buffets (Stockman’s wasn’t terrible at that point).
