Awhile back I was at a casino with the wife. A friend of mine introduced me to his girlfriend, and when I shook her hand, she commented “you have really soft hands”. I think I managed a feeble “thanks” but it has bothered me ever since. I mean, yeah, I’ve never been much for manual labor. I’ve worked the last 13 years in different computer-related positions, so it’s not surprising that I have “soft hands”, but why would someone say that anyway? It’s just so weird.
I have soft hands.

Comes with the computer-professional territory. If it’s a concern, you could take up carpentry or something, but that sounds like work

Yeah, I’m beginning to regret this whole “owning a house” thing. There’s always something that needs to be fixed, or upgraded, or replaced, or painted, or whatever.
