Dave Knows: Elko

The final batch of Blizzcon ticket invites went out yesterday, and since I do not have a message in my inbox, I did not get tickets.  Part of me is sad, part of me is happy.  The sad part thinks it would have been a really fun trip and a good father-son bonding thing, but the happy side of me says it would have been a nightmare of crowded exhibits and smelly geeks hogging the demo machines and blocking our view of everything.  So I guess we’ll just stay home and watch it on Direct TV and the boy and I will go somewhere else for a trip.  Maybe Vegas, maybe just Reno or Salt Lake.  Any suggestions? Has to be A: within a day’s drive and B: not something that I would want to take the whole family to.
